The hacker group claimed to have attacked Apple

Recently, the hacker group IntelBroker announced a successful infiltration of Apple’s system after attacking AMD. According to reports, IntelBroker stole important internal tools’ source code, such as AppleConnect-SSO, Apple-HWE-Confluence-Advanced, and AppleMacroPlugin, as well as employee personal information and other sensitive data. Among the stolen tools, AppleConnect-SSO is particularly crucial, serving as an authentication system for Apple employees to access internal applications.

Apple has not yet responded to this incident, while AMD confirmed the attack and is working with authorities to investigate the matter.

IntelBroker, an emerging hacker group, has gained notoriety for a series of cyber attacks on various targets including the Los Angeles International Airport, technology consulting company Acuity, Africa’s largest retailer Shoprite, and even Europol.

This attack highlights the increasing cybersecurity threats faced by large organizations, emphasizing that even heavily protected entities can be vulnerable to sophisticated cyber-attacks.
