Samsung’s AI robot ‘captures the hearts’ of users at CES 2025

Samsung has announced the long-awaited launch of its Ballie AI robot, which is set to debut in 2025 after years of anticipation. The announcement was made in conjunction with its appearance at an exhibition in Las Vegas, where it garnered significant attention for its innovative features aimed at enhancing the smart home experience.

Ballie is designed with a distinctive spherical form and is equipped with advanced artificial intelligence, enabling it to interact seamlessly with users. Key capabilities include speech recognition, object identification, home mapping, and functioning as a central hub for smart home devices.

A standout feature of Ballie is its ability to act as a mobile projector. It incorporates a Full HD three-color laser projector that can display movies, videos, and other content on walls or various surfaces throughout the home. Additionally, with a unique conversion lens, it can shift projection from the floor to the wall.

A Samsung representative highlighted Ballie’s dual purpose, stating, “With Ballie, you will have a powerful assistant always accompanying you and a mobile cinema right in your home.”

While the official pricing details have yet to be released, Samsung plans to launch Ballie in the first half of 2025, positioning it as a potentially leading smart home device on the market.
